Dan is the Artistic Director. & co-founder of Pioneer Productions Company. Acting and singing for over 30 years, and a proud 25+ year member of the Actors' Equity Association.
Most recently, Dan had the honor of singing Lead for the world-famous vocal group “THE DIAMONDS” (33 appearances on American Bandstand, inducted into the Doo-wop hall of fame, 3 gold records) and toured extensively with them throughout the United States. Dan has worked on Broadway, Off Broadway, and several national tours, and has performed on many amazing NY stages, including BB King's (Times Square, NYC), CBGB's, Don't Tell Mama's, 54 Below, Times Scare NYC, Dillon's Reprise Room, Toshi's Living Room, The Town Hall (NYC), The Cherry Lane Theatre (NYC), as well as Surflight Theatre (LBI, NJ), The Garden State Arts Center, The NJ State Fair (Giants Stadium), The Count Basie Theatre (Red Bank, NJ) and The Strand Theatre (Lakewood, NJ).
Throughout his carrer, Dan has received numerous awards, including placing 1st overall at The Garden State Talent Expo (@ The Garden State Arts Center, now PNC Arts Center), where he tallied a perfect score from all 12 judges, a first for the competition. Dan studied the Meisner Technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in NYC and has appeared in over 100+ productions throughout NY, NJ and nationally. He also had the unique honor of studying voice under "acclaimed vocal coach to the stars", J. Ronald Shelter for over 25 years.
